Community Minded

We consider it our responsibility to make a distinctive contribution to some of the most pressing sustainable development challenges of our generation. As part of making a valuable contribution as community partners, we seek meaningful long-term relationships that respect local cultures and create lasting benefits.

We aim to support the development of diversified and resilient local economies that contribute to quality of life improvement that continues beyond the life of our operations.

AMC Commercial Cleaning

We have a history of association as corporate partners of St. Kilda football club. We are proud to be the sponsors of St. Kilda Next Generation Academy – Indigenous Scholarships. The Next Generation Academy was launched to develop talent and participation from  boys and girls aged 11 – 15 from the diverse population in the regions covering Melbourne to Frankston.  Recognising the need for inclusive programmes to attract talent from all backgrounds, AFL and St. Kilda will work together to deliver academies of training and development. The Next Generation Academy will encourage, develop and enhance participation outcomes for talented players and create more opportunities for multicultural and indigenous participants.

“We are proud to be the sponsors of the indigenous scholarship programme.”

AMC provides 15 full time scholarships for training and development in addition to which the AMC Indigenous Cadet-ship in collaboration with Saints and AFL Ready will see school leavers from the indigenous communities receive hands-on work experience at AMC.

Children’s Cancer Institute

Children’s Cancer Institute is the only independent medical research institute in Australia dedicated 100% to childhood cancer research, existing solely to cure childhood cancer and improve the quality of life for survivors. They focus on translational research, working closely with clinicians to ensure their discoveries are progressed into clinical trials and actual treatments for kids with cancer as quickly as possible. Children’s Cancer Institute first opened its research laboratories in 1984 and has since grown to employ more than 195 staff and students, establishing a national and international reputation for scientific excellence.

At AMC, we believe it is important to look after people, especially the little ones. We make our commitment in significant ways to fund raising for children’s cancer research such as serving on the Board of CCI’s major fund-raising, under taking personal challenges such as CEO Dare and incorporating our commitment into strategies such as Cause Marketing.
