Management Policy: AMC Commercial Cleaning

At AMC Commercial Cleaning, we employ rigorous, high-quality management principles in all of our operations. This results in a highly efficient service that our clients can trust implicitly.

Supervision

Our management of premises consists of a three-tiered approach.

Firstly, the only successful way to manage medium to large projects is to install a Site Supervisor who is responsible for the day to day management of staff, quality and client liaison.

Our Site Supervisor is supported by our Area Manager, who conducts regular quality audits to provide an overview of the cleaning standard and to set priorities for the coming week.

Our State Operations Manager meets with a member of staff monthly or more often as necessary to conduct additional audits and to discuss any cleaning requirements.

Management Responsibilities

Your Site Supervisor & Area Manager are available at your convenience 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist you with cleaning and any maintenance issues, like having your own facilities management professional without the overheads.

Their role is to successfully implement the start up of the cleaning function followed by ongoing quality control and maintaining the cleaning standards. They can also provide for all your building facilities maintenance.

Staff Allocation

As part of our staff induction program, we conduct training sessions prior to the commencement of our contract. Our Area Manager is also available during the initial stage of the contract to provide ongoing support to the staff and to implement development systems to enable the staff to achieve better productivity and quality standards.

Comunications

An essential part of our service delivery is our ability to structure effective communication with all parties involved. This gives an end result of a business cleaned to the standard required by the business community. In particular, we strive to:

• discuss issues on a daily basis with your representative and our Site Supervisor
• analyse cleaning issues on a regular basis and then to plan in advance for periodical tasks
• conduct regular meetings between AMC Management and your representative in the view of working towards a common goal.

AMC Commercial Cleaning Integrated Management System

The AMC Integrated Management Systems (IMS) was implemented in 2007 across the AMC Commercial Cleaning operation. AMC Commercial Cleaning is one of the first service organisations in Australia to have an externally audited Integrated Management System.

Risk management is fundamental to our operations. AMC Commercial Cleaning seek to conduct business with a commitment to protecting the quality of the environment. To achieve this policy, the company is committed to the prevention of pollution and will at all times put in place waste minimisation processes.

AMC Commercial Cleaning's IMS system was implemented in conjunction with the following certifications:

• ISO9001:2000—Formalised systems and procedures in Quality Assurance for all aspects of the business;
• AS/NZS 4801—Occupational, Health & Safety and Risk Management;
• ISO 14001:2004—Environmental Impact Minimisation Management System.
